The following four types of people should avoid eating egg yolk.

People with cholesterol problems:

High amounts of cholesterol are found in egg yolk. One yolk contains about 186 mg of cholesterol, which is close to the daily requirement of the body. People who are suffering from high cholesterol or heart problems should avoid yolk, as it can further increase the level of cholesterol in their blood.

Diabetic patients:

Patients with diabetes are already at a higher risk of heart disease. According to research, excessive consumption of egg yolk can be harmful for diabetes patients. This can increase the risk of heart problems.

Obesity or weight gain problems:

People who are trying to lose weight should avoid yolk. It is high in calories and fat, which can slow down the process of weight loss. The white part (egg white) is high in protein and low in calories, so it is a better option for weight loss.

People with liver problems:

People who have liver problems, such as fatty liver or hepatitis, should avoid yolk. The fat and cholesterol present in it can put an additional load on the liver, which can worsen the condition of the liver. Especially those who consume it for a long time are at a higher risk of getting liver diseases.
