The reason for this is that there are some elements present in lentils, which can make digestion difficult. Eating certain pulses does not cause gas in the stomach. At the same time, consuming a few pulses causes a lot of gas in the stomach. Therefore, people who already have gastric or other digestive problems should avoid consuming these pulses.

Urad dal produces gas:

Consuming urad dal causes a lot of gas in the stomach. This dal is considered to be very heavy and difficult to digest. Therefore, people who already have problems with gas and bloating should avoid consuming it. Also, people with weak digestion should avoid consuming it.

Eating gram dal causes gas:

Chana dal is the most commonly eaten. It is rich in nutrients. It is rich in fiber and protein. But it is not so easy to digest. Consuming it can lead to stomach gas and bloating. If you use this dal, soak it for at least 4-5 hours and then cook it.

Avoid Lentils:

Masor ki dal is very tasty to eat and is full of nutrition. However, some people may experience gas, bloating, and other digestive problems after consuming it. So it should always be consumed in limited quantities.

Keep these things in mind to get rid of the gas problem:

Soak and cook lentils:

If you want to avoid gas in the stomach after consuming lentils, soak them for at least 6-8 hours before cooking them. Then boil it well or cook it in a pressure cooker so that it can be digested quickly.

Apply a pinch of asafoetida:

Add asafoetida seeds to dal to avoid gas problems. This not only enhances the taste of dal but also prevents the problem of gas.

Use garlic and ginger:

Add cumin seeds, garlic, and ginger while making dal. These things prevent the formation of gas.

Consume in limited amounts:

If you feel gassy after eating pulses, eat less of them. Also, avoid eating too many pulses at a time.
