How to Reduce Body Heat with Ayurvedic Remedies

How to Reduce Body Heat Naturally: According to Ayurveda, Pitta (bile) is one of the 3 doshas of the body. Pitta controls the digestive power or Agni in the body. When bile goes out of control, it can cause stomach problems. Pitta is considered oily, hot and light. This can also cause heat stress.

In summer, the body experiences dehydration, in such a situation the heat is felt more. Most people have to face stomach heat in summer. It is important to drink enough water to cool the body heat.

1. Take a bile-reducing diet:

To reduce body heat or bile, you should include cold foods in your diet. For this, you can consume cucumber, amla, watermelon, cantaloupe, broccoli etc. in the diet. This will reduce body heat, health will also benefit.

2. Eat a diet rich in water:

To remove the heat from the body, you should drink enough water. It is necessary to drink 4 liters of water in every disease. Apart from this, only water-rich food should be eaten. For this, you can include cucumber, watermelon, strawberry, coconut water, fruit juice etc. in your diet. Apart from this, soup, vegetable juice, sugarcane juice can also be beneficial.

3. Celery leaves:

Celery leaves contain high amount of water. It provides moisture to the body, helps in keeping cool. Apart from this, celery leaves also contain magnesium, iron, potassium and calcium. Celery is beneficial for health along with removing body heat.

4. Eat on time:

Eating on time is also very important to remove body heat. This helps in proper use of fire in the body. Digestive juice is also ensured. To cool the body, definitely eat salad along with food. Amla is very beneficial in cooling down the body heat.

5. Wash feet with cold water:

Washing feet with cold water also helps in removing body heat. For this, fill a tub with water, put ice cubes in it. Now keep both your feet immersed in this tub for about half an hour. This will help in cooling the blood passing through the veins, the body temperature will also decrease. You will not feel too hot.

6. Avoid heat-increasing foods:

You should avoid heat-increasing foods. There are many such foods, which increase the heat of your body. This includes citrus fruits, beetroot, carrot, garlic, ginger, sour foods and red chili etc. Apart from this, hot spices like black pepper, cinnamon, cloves also increase the body heat. So avoid eating all these things.

7. Drink coconut water:

Coconut has a very cold effect. Coconut keeps the body temperature in balance. You can drink coconut water to remove body heat. Coconut water is a good source of vitamins, minerals, and also cools the body. Apart from this, coconut oil is also effective in removing body heat. For this, massage your feet and body with coconut oil. This will reduce heat and stress.

8. Drink buttermilk:

Buttermilk water is considered very beneficial in summers. Because buttermilk has a cold effect, it helps in reducing body heat. Buttermilk is also rich in nutrients, it gives energy to the body. To deal with the heat, you should drink a glass of cold buttermilk daily.

To cool down the body heat, you can also include aloe vera, amla, mint etc. in your diet. Apart from this, massage your head with cold oil. Avoid using heat-increasing oils like sesame, castor oil. You can also massage with coconut oil for cooking.
